CARMEL, IN – This month, Synergize held their monthly 4:30 Meetup at Bar Louie in Carmel. Carmel residents may be familiar with the philanthropic social organization, which features a local cause at each of their 4:30 Meetup events.
February’s featured cause was Morning Light INC, an organization that operates the Abbie Hunt Bryce Home in Indianapolis. The Abbie Hunt Bryce Home provides a free home and hospice care to terminally ill, low-income patients.
“The Abbie Hunt Bryce Home gives our patients a safe and loving environment to spend their final days,” said Madison Wood, ED, who spoke at the 4:30 Meetup. “All people deserve respect, dignity, and love, especially at the end of their lives.”
Indy Facets Private Jeweler, a Carmel-based custom jeweler and Platinum Sponsor of Synergize, selected this month’s cause.
“I really can’t reiterate enough how special [Morning Light INC’s] impact is on the community,” said Shaun Goodyear, Founder at Indy Facets. “We especially love how they treat all their patients with so much compassion.”
Each Platinum Sponsor gets the chance to select two of Synergize’s featured impacts per year. Synergize features eleven organizations total; one at each 4:30 Meetup.
In addition to the 4:30 Meetups, Synergize facilitates small groups focused on personal and professional development and recurring social events. Most of these groups and events are member-exclusive, but anyone can buy a ticket for a 4:30 Meetup. Every ticket includes a donation to the featured cause.
Synergize’s next event, The Synergize Experience, is coming up on Tuesday, March 12. The Synergize Experience is a fun opportunity for people who share a desire for close friendship and community impact to connect with each other! Tickets are available on Synergize’s website, www.synergizeindy.com.
For those who wish to connect with Morning Light INC, one great opportunity is the organization’s Night Light Gala on March 21. The venue will be lit by 850 candles to represent the 850 souls Morning Light INC has had the pleasure to serve.
“Death and end-of-life care is something we need to be able to talk about,” said Wood at the 4:30 Meetup. “These conversations remind everyone that we’re privileged to be alive, until we aren’t.”
