CARMEL, IN – At its most recent 4:30 Meetup, Synergize gathered at 3Up in Carmel to build deep friendships and help local kids by benefitting kNot Today.
kNot Today is a nonprofit that strives to bring about a world which cherishes and protects the beauty and innocence of every child. They generate awareness, initiate prevention strategies, and support restorative services to end sexual abuse, exploitation, and trafficking of children.
Founded in 2019 by Linda Reich and her husband Frank, kNot Today works with schools, families, and churches to provide tools that prevent crimes against children. The organization awards grants to vetted service providers that care for the children victimized by these crimes. They also support local law enforcement in their efforts to catch the perpetrators by providing them with funds for better technology and equipment.
“It’s not what you achieve, it’s what you set into motion”
Alyssa Van Vactor
Alyssa Van Vactor spoke to the heart of the mission at the event. She has been the organization’s ED since 2021, but involved in nonprofits in Indianapolis for almost a decade. Passionate about helping kids, Van Vactor loves the meaningful work she does, and is grateful to every person who makes it possible in the Indianapolis community and beyond.
Elijah Condellone also spoke on behalf of Factur, who sponsored this month’s 4:30 Meetup. Each 4:30 Meetup sponsor makes it possible for Synergize to donate a large portion of its revenue to monthly impacts.
Synergize hosts a 4:30 Meetup on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Each event benefits a nonprofit organization making an impact on people in Indiana. All Synergize memberships include tickets, but they can also be purchased on the Synergize website or Eventbrite.
“The 4:30 Meetup is an opportunity for everyone to come see what the Relationships Over Everything movement feels like in person,” says Arron Stanton, founder of Synergize. “It’s never about what you do. Nobody’s here to fill a pipeline; we’re here to create impact with a ton of genuine, awesome friends.”
This 4:30 Meetup, Synergize raised over $2,300 for kNot Today. In November, the group will benefit the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Community Foundation’s Shop with Kids program, which helps families in need provide Christmas presents for their children.
