On March 26, Synergize members, guests, and friends gathered together at Bar Louie in Carmel for the group’s monthly 4:30 Meetup. Every month, professionals from all over Central Indiana come to these events, each of which feature a local cause.

March’s featured nonprofit was Roots and Wings. This new organization is compiling an online resource library. It will serve those wondering how to leave a financial legacy for their families and for organizations they support.

Roots and Wings has spent the last year building up a high-quality library of video content and free guided workbooks. The first of their four courses is live on their website. Two more will launch on Friday, May 3. The modules focus on finding your values, financial education, and purpose work.

Roots and Wings will also have modules specifically for caregivers, who often don’t have the bandwidth to prioritize their own legacies, and those grappling with personal difficulties such as losing a spouse.

Roots and Wings is having a free virtual Launch Lunch for their new modules on May 3. All are invited to attend and learn more about their services can visit www.rootsandwingslegacy.com

Supporting local causes feeds a vital piece of Synergize’s philosophy. The group brings together people in Carmel and the surrounding areas who want to build authentic relationships and impact their communities.

Typically, 4:30 Meetup impacts are either chosen by Synergize’s Corporate Members or nominated and voted on by members of the group. Synergize features 11 organizations total; one at each 4:30 Meetup.

In addition to the 4:30 Meetups, Synergize facilitates small groups focused on personal and professional development and recurring social events. Most of these groups and events are member-exclusive, but anyone can buy a ticket for a 4:30 Meetup. Every ticket includes a donation to the featured cause.

Those wishing to build deeper, more authentic friendships in the area and get involved with causes might enjoy Synergize’s next event, The Synergize Experience. It will be held at The Synergize Hub, Synergize’s headquarters on Range Line Road.

“It’s an atmosphere that’s tough to explain, which is why we call it The Synergize Experience,” said Heather Hunter, Synergize’s Director of Marketing. “In a lot of places, people throw around ‘authentic’ as a buzzword. But at our events, it’s real, and the connections are real, and you can feel it.”
