On January 31, Synergize kicked off its fourth year in business. The organization’s members celebrated the milestone with a night of new connections at The Cat Theater in Carmel.
Headquartered on S. Range Line Road, Synergize has spent the past three years beginning professional relationships from deep, supportive friendships. The organization uses events and intentional introductions to foster authentic connection between its members.
“Three years ago, all of this was just an idea,” says Arron Stanton, Founder of Synergize. “And since then, Synergize and its impact has evolved into something much bigger than I’d ever dreamed it would be.”
Synergize’s largest events are its monthly 4:30 Meetups. Each one spotlights a different local nonprofit, which Synergize benefits with a portion of proceeds from membership dues.
“Impact has always been central to what Synergize is,” Stanton explains. “No matter how many years we’re here, that will never change.”
Synergize will also be adding two new impact initiatives this year. Through the first, Quarterly Impact Challenges, the organization will work with a nonprofit beneficiary to set up a service-based event for members to help the community and connect with one another.
The second way Synergize plans to increase its impact is through sponsored memberships for nonprofits. These memberships allow Synergize to offer a year-round platform for causes that may not be highlighted through 4:30 Meetups, but still need the connections and platform Synergize offers.
The first of these memberships was gifted at the event. It will go to Resounding Joy, a local nonprofit providing powerful and affordable music therapy services to those in need throughout central Indiana.
Stanton and the rest of the Synergize team finished the night by awarding Synergize’s third Legacy of Impact award to Brian Kelly, co-founder of Current Publishing. These awards are gifted yearly, to someone who has made an astounding impact both on Synergize and the community it calls home.
Through memberships, both companies and individuals can become part of the Synergize family. To get involved, visit synergizeindy.com.
