Synergize would like to invite members of the community and media to the grand opening celebration of Cold Plunge Studios, a revolutionary health and wellness business housed on 146th Street.
The celebration will take place on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Synergize at 5:30pm. Cold Plunge Studios, and the grand opening party, are located at 2792 E. 146th Street, Carmel, IN.
Cold plunging is the act of immersing oneself in cold water for a specific amount of time. An ancient practice made newly popular by Dutch extreme athlete Wim Hof, cold plunging has been shown to reduce inflammation, improve muscle recovery, and enhance mental clarity, among other benefits.
Cold Plunge Studios will specifically use contrast therapy, a form of cold plunging mixing time in a cold water bath with time in a sauna.
“Cold plunge therapy provides a highly effective and natural way to enhance physical and mental well-being. When immersed in cold water, the body’s blood vessels constrict, followed by rapid dilation as you return to warmth. This process, known as contrast therapy, has been scientifically proven to alleviate pain, accelerate muscle recovery, and stimulate the release of endorphins, which are crucial for mood elevation and stress reduction,” said Sean Johnson, a representative for Cold Plunge Studios.
Members of Cold Plunge Studios will have access to a state-of-the-art cold plunge pool, a number of guided cold plunge sessions per month, and other benefits, which are listed on the company’s website. The company also owns a mobile cold plunge, which can be rented for special events.
The company was co-founded by Devin Johnson, CEO and co-founder of multi-million-dollar software company Kennected; Cody Harvey, co-founder of Kennected and CEO of Breakout Audio; and Jesse Gambert, who now owns and manages Cold Plunge Studios. The men are experienced cold plungers and have seen its benefits firsthand.

The co-founders are members of Synergize through Kennected, which has been a Presenting Partner of Synergize since 2020.
